Snowmobiling

Tony and I went snowmobiling Friday afternoon, up at Daniels Summit. We met up with some of Tony's friends, and set out for the top. I am still not very good on the machines, so I mostly stayed on the road. And of course I was the photographer. I had quite a fun time, however. Watching those guys jump and turn is amazing.
Here is Tony posing for me for a second.

This is the overlook at the top. Of course, the picture doesn't do it justice. It was really pretty. It's amazing how far you can see when you are up there. They were all trying to figure out where towns and canyons were.

This is a missed shot, that was SO sad....Tony is the closest one. This was the first time he hit that spot, and he jumped the entire road and then some. However, I didn't catch it. Dang, Dang, Dang! So the next time he did it, I used the video. Since the "lip" was gone, he didn't go quite as far, but it's still pretty cool.

Here is Tony and 2 of the other guys that we rode with. Tony is the one on the left.

And here is the only shot of me. Oh, so cute...I know. Gotta love how those helmets push your cheeks forward. lol I practiced a bit on the way down. I just CAN NOT turn that snowmobile. I am so week! Needless to say, my arms are sore....but it's a good sore.

After we rode for a few hours, Tony and I headed back to the lodge for dinner and a nights stay in the lodge.

Snowmobiling

Tony LOVES snowmobiling. He goes every chance he gets. This year has been a little bit scary because of all the avalanches, so he stays in pretty flat areas. I have gone with him once, up to Strawberry, and of course I forgot our camera. But here is another time when he went with a friend up to Wolf Creek. No pictures of him, but still some good ones. It was snowing pretty good on them while they were out.
This is Tony's sled:

This is the elevation sign...9485 ft.

Here are his friends and all the sleds.

Tony is pretty dang good at snowmobiling. He looks awesome side hilling and such. I am not so good....crud I'm terrible. I can't even turn. I need to practice big time!
