Baptism
Gracie is scheduled to be baptised on Saturday July 5th. She will be confirmed during sacrament meeting the next day. All who wish to, are welcome to attend. Please RSVP soon, so I can plan a meal to accomodate everyone. We are not sure of the time yet. But, I'll keep you posted.
Golfing
We all went golfing the other day. It was the 2nd time in my life EVER golfing. Tony got a new set of clubs, so I was using his drivers and the rented set of irons. I had a good laugh at myself. More often then not, I completely missed the ball. I was to high, then I was to far out. Sometimes it went a couple feet. WOO HOO!!! Look at me I'm a pro! NOT. By the end of the 9 holes, I was getting better. I could actually send it 20 yards or so. Of course I was no where near the mighty hits from Tony. Man, he would hit that ball and it'd go so far I'd loose sight of it. He'd ask me to stand near him and watch the ball, so we would know where it was. Yeah, right! Once it peaked into the sky....it was gone to me. Some day I'll be that good right?!?
If the slide show below has quit...just hit the little x in the upper right corner of it...and it will start again.

Reunion
Last weekend, we had a reunion for Tony's mom's side of the family. The Johnson Reunion. We spent some time at my work, in a room we rent to people. It's large & has a kitchen & some media equipment. Some of you have been there for my kids blessings. Any hoo.....We had some activities there. The guys went golfing and we all went swimming Saturday night. I think we all had a nice time. It was great to see everyone.
While they were golfing the kids made some foam crowns & visors.

When I get pictures from other people, of the swimming and everything....I'll add a slide show.
Anyway...I think everyone had an enjoyable time. We were all tired by the end. Saturday night we stayed up playing games. We played a game called Rage, which was quite fun....of course it took me about 3 hands before I finally figured out what the heck I was doing.
Thanks to everyone who came and participated.
We brought a small TV/DVD combo, so the kids could watch cartoons at their leisure. Here is TJ, Asher, Montana and Gracie watching Hello Kitty. Asher had the most fun with the buttons on the TV. LOL!
Later that night, Uncle Bill set up a popcorn machine and the kids enjoyed popcorn & a movie. Here you see Gracie, Montana, Asher, Summer and Keaton. Thanks Uncle Bill & Aunt Jo.
I was in charge of keeping the kids entertained. At a recent trip to the Dollar Tree, the kids and I came across these knightly get ups. The boys (young & old) enjoyed dueling. Tracer & Keaton were trying to battle the Great David! (I'm not sure who won...)

For the girls, we had Gracie's vast Dress-up collection. We also found colored wigs & such at the Dollar Tree, to go with the dress-up. Here is Elliot & Montana. Pink and Blue hair!!! Notice Montana's hat...I got a kick out of this, because it's actually a dress for a doll. Nice improvising.

Here is me and little Asher. The kids were watching a movie and Asher kept bushing the off button. So, I came to help the girls out...so they could watch their movie.
Saturday afternoon the guys went golfing. Here are most of them.
Brian, Jono, Justin, David, Bill, Eric, Tony and TJ down in front.
They had a blast. TJ kept chasing balls and bringing the putter for his dad. He even got to drive the cart!

Last Game
Gracie & TJ had their last T-Ball game last night. They did pretty good, until the wind decided to gust. Hats were blowing across the field and sand was getting in everyone's eyes. But, it didn't last long, and the kids were playing again.
Gracie informed me that she doesn't think she'll want to play next year. Again, she got bored. She wants to do tumbling because you get to jump on trampolines and do tricks. We'll see.
TJ on the other hand seems to love baseball. He wants to get a pitching machine, so he can practice. I was out pitching to him the other night, until the mosquito's tried to join in. 'Tis the season.

Friday the 13th
Did anyone else realize that last Friday was the 13th? I didn't, until it was brought to my attention. All sorts of unfortunate things happened that day. Many of you know of one...Julene (Tony's mom) broke her wrist.

OUCH!!!
She'll probably hate me for posting this picture. But I just had to show off her arm. They put a temporary cast on it up past her elbow. They'll put a permanent one on after the swelling goes down some.
Tony's sister Kasi took her to the hospital. While they were gone...Kasi's dog, Oreo, got out or was stolen. She has not been seen since. That dog is like their baby. They have put flyers everywhere. If you go to the Lemieux family blog link on the left, you'll see some pics of Oreo. So sad.
Tony broke down in his semi, and had to hobble it into Heber. There he waited until his Grandpa could get there with parts & tools. They had to change a u-joint in the parking lot of a restaurant. So fun!!!
We also got some not so fun news about Tony's dad's health.
And Jennifer & Steven's new car got backed into....by his mom. I'll bet she felt terrible! And, I'm sure it made Steven sick.
Things happen, but wow, what a Friday the 13th.

T-Ball Action
Next Tuesday is the kids last T-Ball game. They have really enjoyed it. I just thought I would share a few pictures of them playing.
Here is Gracie hitting off the T. Notice the tongue sticking out. She's really concentrating! lol

Well, that didn't go far. Good enough, run to first!

Here is TJ hitting off the T.

And he got tagged out. Actually, he was the last hitter, and on the last hitter, they just have everyone run all the way back home. So the first one there makes it, but the rest usually dance around trying to get around the catcher, but he gets them anyway. TJ, he doesn't dance....he just runs for it anyway. Plow 'em down!

Ready for the catch.

Gracie, striking a pose!

Almost got that one!

The Family Party
Sunday was the Family Party/BBQ. Great Grandpa, and Laverne, Grandma Julene & Grandpa Kim, Grandma Cordie, Aunt Kasi & Uncle Ray, Aunt Jennie & Cousins Summer & Violet where there. We BBQ'd hamburgers & hotdogs. Thanks Grandma Julene for the potatoe salad. We had our first Watermelon for the year....I'm not sure it was quite ripe enough, but it still tasted good.
Gracie's Birthday June 8th
Gracie's Birthday was Sunday June 8th. She turned 8. Can you believe it? Crazy!!!
We had a party for her & her friends on Saturday. It was a Tinker Bell party. So, the house was full of fairies.

Friends Emma & Isabel, Gracie, Friend Jade & Cousin Summer.
Then we played the dress up game. It's like musical chairs, but each time the music stops, they have to run to the pile of dress up and find an item that I call out. So, first we did dress, then 1 shoe, then 1 glove then a hat and the other shoe & the other glove. Here's how they turned out.
Gotta love Gracie's Captain Jack hair!
Then it was time for the much anticipated cake!
The day before, Tinker Bell had visited our house and hid a treasure for the girls. So they had to follow the clues through-out the house, to find their Treasure Sacks. Tinker Bell didn't pull one over on them....they found those sacks in 3 minutes flat!!! While the girls dug through their sacks, Gracie opened presents.
She got a High School Musical Blanket, a pretty G necklace, 2 Barbie Mariposa dolls, some Hannah Montana Makeup, a pretty pink bag, and a stationary set.
Then it was time for the pinata. It took 2 rounds, and there was candy EVERYWHERE!!!
Gracie had a great time, and we hope all the girls (and TJ) did too.

T-Ball
Many of you know, Gracie decided to quit dance this year. She was "bored". So, when we went to sign TJ up for T-Ball, Gracie decided to play as well. We lucked out (because I begged) and they got on the same team. Their coach first pitches them some balls through the pitching machine, and if they don't hit one of those, they get to hit off the 'T'. They have both hit a few from the machine. However, once they hit their first one, they became a little scared of the machine. The contact between the bat and ball vibrates the bat and stings their hands a little. They are tough, though, and still hit one every now & then. They seem to be enjoying the sport. We just had pictures taken of the them. Enjoy!
Go Rockies!!!
