Tony and TJ go Snowmobiling

On Saturday, Tony & TJ went Snowmobiling with a friend of Tony's and his little boy. They went up to Strawberry and had a lot of fun. Tony says that TJ and the other little boy had fun rolling down the hills while the men snowmobiled around them. BRRRR!
Here is TJ on the left, with the other guys.

Here are a few pics of Tony jumping on a hill.

And here is TJ, obviously cold, but hot...thus the unzipped coat. You'd be amazed how hot you get while snowmobiling.

The boys had lots of fun. The girls....well we stayed home and played.

TJ and His Bow n' Arrow

TJ got a Bow and Arrows from Santa this year. A REAL ONE! He made sure it was understood this year that he wanted a REAL one. This is the 3rd year he has asked for a Bow & Arrows. Santa has brought him suction cup ones the last 2 years. Well, this Christmas, he got the REAL thing. However, it has been the wrong kind of weather for shooting a Bow.

Today, the sun was out and much of the snow had melted. It was nice and warm. So, we let him try it out. He shot at a box, and hit it quite a few times. Of course the video was one of the times he missed. Those arrows are hard to find in the snow, but we found them eventually.

So, at the beginning I'm saying cucca...well, that is because I stepped in mud. Just so you know. lol

Gracie's Door...Finally

I finally got to putting some vinyl on Gracie's door. She wanted a unicorn. So here we are. A pretty little font, in pink, a purple unicorn and some flowers make up her door decoration. I wish there was a way to add a little glitter. I may have to think about some way to do that. Anyway..she seems to be pleased.

TJ's Hair

You may have noticed in recent pictures that TJ's hair was getting way long! Not because we were growing it out, and not because we didn't notice. Every time we took him in to get his hair cut there were 2 hour waits. So, it just didn't get done. Well, Tony took it upon himself the other night to make TJ an appointment and take him in. I made sure he cut it my way...not his. HA! And I came home to a handsome red head....

The beautician put colored gel in his hair, for fun. Now he won't stop bugging me to buy some. Imagine that!

Isn't he cute? Even with red in his hair. Then we did a goofy picture.

And here is cute little Gracie in braids.

And a goofy shot.

Every time I look at her I bust up. She did a good goofy face.

TJ's Birthday

Last Friday was TJ's 7th birthday. I can't believe he's 7, but he insists that he is. The theme he chose this year was Disney's Bolt. He invited about 12 people, and I think they all came, plus a few more. TJ even invited 1 girl this year. Macee. She lives in our neighborhood and she is in his class.

So, we played some games. The boys seemed to enjoy running around more than playing games. (I'll remember that next year) Then TJ opened presents. Here he is with a Webkinz lizard on his lap, that Gracie gave him. And holding a pillow case that his cousins gave him. Their dad even helped sew it. WOW!

I don't know what he is looking at. Probably a motorcycle toy.

He got quite a few play guns and a play sword.

Then the Pizza came and we all ate. Here he is with friends Alex & Wyatt.

And here is the entire group.

TJ had lots of fun!

Here is the cake. I didn't make it again this year. Just ordered it. But, it looks great. And it tasted really good too!

Gracie's friend Brynlie stayed and played with her. I couldn't get them to smile at the same time. Oh well.

Happy Birthday to you...Happy Birthday to TJ.....Make a wish and blow out the candles!

I had family come over for the Pizza and cake part. Then after all the kids left, we did family gifts. Here he is with a dinosaur bone digging kit. T-Rex bones are in there!

And here he is with the cousins, and another play gun. This one is a shotgun with pretend shells. Sweet!

Rip it open Bud!

The cousins, Tracer, and Keaton.

Smiley face Keaton.

TJ had a great time. Thanks to everyone!!!

After we cleaned up the mess, our family and the cousins family, Justin & Sherie & boys, went to the Bull Riders event over in Vernal. TJ enjoyed that as well.

So, for a short time, we now have a 7 & 8 year old. WOW! Can they be that big?

Sledding and Fun in the Sun...I mean Snow

Tony went snowmobiling on the 11th, and I wasn't feeling very well. Headache! So much fun. So the kids and I stayed home. Later in the afternoon, I decided I could handle driving them to the park and standing there and just taking pictures while they went sledding. So...off we went. Gracie was quite nervous. She had never been sledding before. The only kind she has done is being pulled behind the 4-wheeler. So, we told her it would be fine. She'd have tons of fun. We got there and TJ & Gracie headed up the hill, while I stood at the bottom. Here they are at the top ready to take off.

TJ was all smiles!

Gracie was all giggles! For some reason, her sled likes to go backwards. Not once did it go all the way down without turning.

Here is a video of Gracie and the backwards sled.

And here is TJ.....his sled tried to turn too...but it doesn't do it as well.

Gracie again....

Then we decide to try switching sleds. Gracie got to go down front wards the whole way! Yipee!!!

TJ wasn't so lucky, but he thought it was pretty funny too!

After they had had enough of climbing up the hill, they decided to play on the play ground. Man....I wish it was Spring and warmer! TJ headed straight for the slide and begged me to take a picture...so what the heck, let's have some fun!

TJ loves the monkey bars this year. He has the blisters to prove it too.

Gracie zooming down the sled.

Here is my smiley little girl.

Another set of monkey bars. Wow, this playground has 3 sets.

And this weird little bridge thing. Don't fall through the spaces!

I got the kids up on the bars....

And then I made them hang up side down. They giggled, even when they started slipping and were nervous they were going to fall off. But...mom saved them.

Then we were off to the zip line. Here's TJ. Gracie was slippery and couldn't hang on long enough for me to get my camera up and snap a picture. Heck I couldn't even hardly let go and she was down for the count!

Stinking cute little snow princess tho...isn't she.

And into the snow she goes again. Man..those slides are slippery.

TJ enjoys climbing up the slides more than going down. It's been a constant battle to make him understand that he goes down, not up. *head shake* *sigh* Okay, well, no body else was there, so he had his chance at going up without too much complaint.

I honestly don't know what this contraption is supposed to accomplish. I get, you stand on it and swing with your feet, but you really can move much. I just don't get it. Gracie decided to just hang on it and let her feet dangle. Works for me.

Ready for snow again, the kids decided to make snow angels. Here is Gracie...and me! See me?

Here's TJ.

And the angels.

The kids had a lot of fun, and were able to burn off some energy! K....Can it melt now? Please?
