The kids started Karate on the 6th. Gracie & TJ were both very excited to start. Their dad was supposed to pick them up from school that day, but he didn't get back from Vernal in time. So, I went to pick them up and told them I was taking them to work with me. Dad would pick them up from there. Well, they couldn't stand that. They had to ask me every 3 minutes if I was sure Tony knew they were with me. LOL!
So, they are official..uniform and all. And they are CUTE! TJ wouldn't really hold still for pictures, so he is a little blurry, but here they are striking some karate poses.
They learned some stances and the first move they learned is called the something Mantis. I can't remember exactly. Here is Gracie showing that move.
They have to pass off 4 moves and they will get their yellow belts.
