Riding the Bus

The kids really wanted to ride the bus this year. I was going to have them ride it home anyway, to give Tony that extra 1/2 hour to get home from work or to save our babysitter from having to drive into town to get them. Unfortunately, our babysitter quite last week. So, now it's just Tony. He's tried working at night the last 2 nights, but it is just not working for him. He is so tired and sick feeling from just 2 days of it. Poor man. So, he may try just going early in the morning so he can be home in time. If not, I've asked a couple neighbors to help out a bit. Anyway...enough babysitter saga. The kids are trying to catch the bus each morning. It leaves at 7:35 am. It picks them up just down the street. Here is a picture of the distance from our driveway to the bus.
Of course I am on my way to work about the same time, so I just have them ride down with me and I watch them get on the bus. I'm such a nice mom, aren't I?
Gracie is the girl in Red with black pants, and the messenger bag strap across her chest.
TJ is the 2nd to last, looking this way.
And now he is about to climb on the bus.
Their bus driver is a young girl, and they say she is nice. They just loving getting to sit by friends and ride the big yellow bus to school.
