Camping 2011

We got to go camping a few times this year, before it got too cold.  Actually, the last time we went, which would have been Sept 17th weekend, we got snowed on!  Granted, we were really high, but geez.  It rained and snowed and we pretty much just hung out in camper with the heater on, playing games and watching movies.  It was a last hurrah before I had was down for a few weeks.  It was nice and relaxing.  We did get out of the camper and go for a ride in the rhino one time.  Luckily, I had brought a blanket in anticipation of the cold, so the kids...and dog, were bundled up nicely.

So, after that, I had surgery and was down for several weeks.  The surgery went very well.  I was extremely nervous.  But it was all for naught.  I was very glad that it went so well.  I have a great doctor.  I am also very thankful for everyone who helped us during this time.  Tony really had to step it up, and I appreciate him a ton.  We had some great meals brought to us by Tony's parents and Grandfather and his wife, and my mom came out to sit with me, and help get the kids up in the mornings and off to the bus.  I had some visitors and some treats and even movies provided for me to watch.  Thanks everyone.
