Birthdays and fun

This last weekend, my cute little niece, Summer, celebrated her 8th Birthday!  We went to a fishing pond, to celebrate.  We had pizza and cake and Summer got some fun gifts.  The kids tried their hardest to catch a fish, but the only ones we could see were about 3-4 inches long.  I don't think their mouths were big enough to even eat our bait. 

 

 

 

 

 

And yesterday was my mother in law, Julene's, birthday.  We had Hawaiian Haystacks!  YUM!  And of course there was a cake.  While singing Happy Birthday, I looked over and saw this:

Best seat in the house!  lol  That is Violet.  After cake, me and the kids went outside for a game of crochet.  I have never played before...at least not the right way. It was kind of fun.  We all missed the ball on more than one occasion.

 

 

 

Soon to come, Nerf bars on the Jeep.  TJ was underneath, inspecting the install location.

Okay, actually it was me that said that.  We started to install them, but it got dark too fast on us.  Boo!
